pokeprompts hosts a yearly March tournament, and while this year is no exception, we're shaking things up a bit!

Pokémon fandom has two kink memes: pokanon (LiveJournal) and pokekink_meme (Dreamwidth). This is a Pokémon kink meme competition to see who can write the most for the kink memes in one month!

✰ RULES/DIRECTIONS

★ If you're not familiar with how kink memes work, just click on their links and check them out. Kink memes are not limited to kinky prompts—they have prompts for any kind of fic you could imagine, so everyone is encouraged to participate!

★ You can fill prompts on both kink memes. You can fill a prompt that has already been filled before.

★ The goal of this competition is simple: write as many completed fills as you can during the month of March. The person who writes the most wins!

★ You can either compete anonymously or with your username.

• If you'd like to participate with your username, please leave a comment here listing your LJ and DW usernames (so we know what to look for on both kinkmemes), and then make sure to post all of your fills signed-in so they can be linked to you.


• To participate anonymously, leave a comment here (anonymous or signed-in, all comments are screened) and claim a number (whole numbers only please). Make sure to check what numbers have been claimed first so you don't overlap. If you're leaving an anonymous comment, leave us some way to contact you—e-mail is preferred. Then write your number in bold at the top of each of your fills so that we can track you.

★ There are two categories in this competition: most fics written and most words written. Everyone is automatically enrolled in both categories, although you may orient your strategy towards one or the other.

• We will open up the second category if we receive ten or more competitors. Otherwise, only the "most fics written" category will be open.


• The biggest difference between the two categories is that "words written" can accommodate people who want to focus all of their energies on writing one epic fill for a single prompt, while the other fits people who want to fill lots of things.

★ Fill requirements:

• Each fic must be at least 500 words long to count towards your total. There is no maximum word limit.
• You can write multi-part fics, but only fics completed by March 31 will count towards your total.
• Fills are expected to have proper spelling and grammar.
• Only fics with a March timestamp on them will count towards your total.
• We judges don't care what kinds of prompts you choose to fill, only that you've filled it and what your word count was.

★ The prize is EITHER a one-year Dreamwidth subscription OR a $35 donation to any vetted charity of your choice (within reason)—you decide! Each category will have one winner, and the same person can't win both categories.

★ Keep track of your fills as you write them, because on April 1, we'll put up a tabulation post. Competitors will be expected to leave a comment there providing links to all of the fills they wrote throughout the month (more info about that when we get to that point). Anything you don't link to will probably not be counted, because we don't have time to go sifting through the kink memes picking up after you.

★ Yes, we realize that people could cheat. We also believe in the honor system. Don't cheat. Seriously, just think of the bad karma you'd accrue.
