Summer Color Challenge!

Let's have a little summer tournament, just for kicks. This one's super easy and low-stress, so check out the rules below!


☼ rules.

• You must be a member of pokeprompts to play. Join ussss.


• Pick only one of the prompts below. This means you can only pick one color, but you can pick more than one word within that color to mix and match, if you'd like. You'll see what I mean further down this page.


• Write yourself a fic. It has to be at least five hundred words long and subscribe to pokeprompts' rules, but besides that, go wild!


• There aren't any sign-ups (eta: but if you'd like to announce your intention to write something maybe, go on ahead in the comments!), so just post your fic here (pokeprompts) with the tag *prompt 021: color challenge by August 31, 2012, and please mention which prompt you're using in your author's note.


• Beta-readers are awesome. Try hitting up betaplease if you're looking for one!


• Winners will be chosen after that and showered with praise, adulation, and presents of graphics: three icons or a profile layout (within reason), as you see fit, courtesy of catharsistic. Everyone who participates will get a little banner to use, though!

• Red – flesh, lust, stop, callused, hostage


• Yellow – sun-kissed, dandelions, vintage, shoe(s), innocence


• Blue – glass, puddles, facade, cold-hearted, balloons


• Black – dominating, ashes, unreadable, 1+1=?, crows


• White – nothing and everything, virginity, band-aid, black out, bleach

You can only pick one color, but as many words within that color category that you'd like—whether it be only one or all five.
