2014 Pokemon Holiday Fanwork Exchange!

Welcome to pokeprompts' fifth annual pokémon holiday fanwork exchange. All writers and artists are welcome to participate!

How this works: sign up, give someone a fanwork (fanfiction or fanart), and receive a gift in return. Everyone wins! ♥

You need an AO3 account to participate this year, since that's where gifts will be posted. If you don't have one, click here.
            *AO3 can really help ease mod workload/stress, which is why we're using it this year. However, if there's strong resistance to the idea of using AO3, then we'll consider staying on DW.


Dates

NOTE: Dates have been modified because assignment e-mails were sent late. Sorry!

★ Sign-ups will last until November 25, 2014.

★ Assignments will be e-mailed out on (or possibly before) November 28, 2014.

★ A check-in will occur on December 12, 2014.

★ Gifts are due before or by Dec. 30, 2014 @ 11:55PM UTC.

★ The pinch hit period runs from Jan. 1, 2014 - Jan. 7, 2015.

★ Gifts will be revealed on Jan. 9, 2015.

★ Authors/Artists will be revealed on Jan. 13, 2015.

Rules/Directions

★ Fics should be at least 1,000 words long. You can get there however you would like (e.g., a collection of drabbles is fine).

★ Fanart should be an equivalent amount of effort to 1k words of fic. If you want to get there through several smaller sketches or works, that's fine!

★ You can't pick what type of work (fanfic or fanart) you will receive; we'll simply match you according to what you ask for. Don't worry, it's going to be awesome!

★ Submit your gifts by posting them to our AO3 collection. For more information, click here.

★ PLEASE tell us if you have to drop out of the exchange, and do so as early as possible! We promise we won't get mad. The faster you tell us, the more time the pinch-hitters have to create something.

★ For fic, please get a beta-reader! If you need one, you can find one here.
