Welcome to pokeprompts' fourth annual pokémon holiday fanwork exchange, now run in conjunction with secretstantler!

How this works: sign up, give someone a fanwork (fanfiction or fanart), and receive a gift in return. Everyone wins! ♥

All writers and artists are welcome to participate!


Dates

★ Sign-ups will last until November 14, 2013.

★ Assignments will be e-mailed out on (or possibly before) November 16, 2013.

★ A check-in will occur on November 30, 2013. That's also the last day to drop.

★ Gifts are due before or by 11:59PM PST December 15, 2013. (What time is it in PST?)

★ Gifts will be posted throughout the week until December 23, 2013.

Rules/Directions

★ Fics should be at least 1,000 words long. You can get tposting your gifthere however you would like (e.g., a collection of drabbles is fine).

★ Fanart should be an equivalent amount of effort to 1k words of fic. If you want to get there through several smaller sketches or works, that's fine!

★ You can't pick what type of work (fanfic or fanarwe post the wet) you will receive; we'll simply match you according to what you ask for. Don't worry, it's going to be awesome!

★ There are two ways to submit your gift.

• One way is to submit your gift directly to secretstantler and we'll publish it for you.


• The other way is to e-mail it to us as an attachment and we'll post it for you on DW.

★ If you want to remain anonymous, please submit your entry to secretstantler. (See link above; more details on the page itself).

★ PLEASE tell us if you have to drop out of the exchange, and do so as early as possible! We promise we won't get mad. The faster you tell us, the more time the pinch-hitters have to create something.

★ For fic, please get a beta-reader! You can ask for one on willbetaforfood or betaplease if you don't have one. If you're having trouble you can also send us an ask or e-mail us at pokeprompts@gmail.com and we'll see if we can find one for you.

★ You can use our header if you'd like, but you don't have to:

★ Gifts will be posted to pokeprompts and secretstantler throughout the week of Dec. 16 - Dec. 23! The one-week period gives people time to ask for extensions if they need them, and also gives pinch hitters time to create something for last-minute drops.
